What forms of payment do you take?
We accept cash, credit & debit cards, Apple Pay, and Cash App. Pretty much all forms of payment, just not checks or crypto [please....]

Where can I eat my food?
Since we are quite literally a shack, we don't have any indoor seating. However, there is a deck in back where you can eat your food purchased from Snack Shack.

Can I go onto the beach?
Though this is a public town owned beach, it is only for residents of Chester. However, you can purchase a day pass or season pass by visiting the table at the entrance to the beach. Then you can enjoy your food right on the water!

Do you have any dietary alternatives?
We do offer a vegan/vegetarian burger, as well as gluten free hamburger buns. These alternatives are limited due to high demand, but we make every effort to provide them as often as we can. Please check in and we will let you know if we have them on hand!

Do you do offer takeout and call ahead?
We offer call ahead/take out, as well as in person take out. All left overs can also be wrapped for take home as needed. To order ahead, call us during normal business hours at (203) 314-6912.

How can I stay up to date on Snack Shack Hours and Specials?
Here, on the lake, bad weather makes for a not so great day on the water (or for business). Because of this, we may close early, or for the day. If so, we will announce these changes/closures on our website and/or social media on the day of. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram for any and all updates.

How long will it take for my food?
All of our menu items are cooked to order, so please allow 10-20 minutes for your food to be served, depending how busy it is. Calling ahead is always a good idea if you are in a rush!

Can I bring my dog to the beach?
Dogs or any other pets are not allowed in Snack Shack, our back deck, or onto the beach. The only exception are the use of qualified service dogs.
